A 32km trip to the waterfalls in the Tuk-tuk proves more fun than we had expected. Laos New Year is about to happen and to celebrate they chuck water over one another!
As we unexpectedly found out!
The children stand at the sides of the road and throw buckets of water on passing vehicles & mopeds, its supposed to bring you luck.
At the waterfall is a rescue centre for Sun bears rescued from poachers, not the only one who likes the hammocks then Marks lol!
These multi-tiered falls cascade over limestone formations into tempting green pools below.
They are set in a beautiful national park.
Its hard to pick which one to get in first so we picked none lol!!
Later we relax for sunset over the Mekong River.
